Managing Oracle objects including tables, indexes, views, constraints, db links, jobs, etc.Knowledge of Financial industry terms and applications.
Experience in using MS office products.Experience in working in a geographically distributed development teamExpected to propose best practices/standards.
Application development/Automation in Java and/or in Oracle database
Reporting status of assigned work/tasks to the Tech/Project Leader/Manager
Participate in Meetings and discussion specific to the project.Effectively manage day-to-day tasks / activities in coordination with a team of developers to effectively meet the deliverables and schedule of a data solution component within a larger application project.Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions.Support and maintain Java applications, data and database systems to meet business delivery specifications and needs.Work with Business Analysts/product Managers on gathering requirements and specifications.Responsible for design and development of independent modules and medium scale projects.
